We help Indigenous girls feel empowered, build friendships, and find belonging in a special community through activities including:
Attending sporting events and other events
Cooking classes
Makeup and modeling classes
Acting, arts and crafts
Videography and Acting
and so much more!
Our program is free and open to Indigenous girls ages 10-17
The Talking Quilt
Looking back on a video created over 20 years ago, we reflect on the healing journey that the Talking Quilt project was about. This video was released in 2000 and demonstrates just how long Stardale has been a driver of change, source of empowerment and source of hope. The video itself is a catalyst for the women to speak about the atrocities they experience.

Our program is always in need of passionate volunteers to assist us in day-to-day activities, transportation and on event days.

Who is Stardale?
Stardale is a community and safe space for Indigenous girls to learn grow and explore what their futures could hold. With humble origins, we work every single day to improve the lives of the young girls that participate in our program and set them on a solid course for their future.
Our program serves young Indigenous girls from ages 10-17. The four components of the holistic Stardale Model encompass the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual aspects of life.
It all starts and ends with our girls
From life skills and educational assistance to fashion, music and cultural practices the Stardale girls are provided with as many experiences and opportunities as possible.
